Harmony Health Centre is currently seeking a Part-time Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will assist the Office Manager in the daily operations to help the centre run smoothly and efficiently. They will work within the Vision, Mission and Values of Harmony Health Centre Co-operative.

The primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting clients in a courteous and confidential manner
  • Answer the phone, respond to voicemails and emails in a timely fashion
  • Schedule appointments, meetings and community room bookings using Clinic Master
  • Provide administrative support to staff, management, and book keeper
  • Complete daily billings for numerous insurance companies i.e.; Blue Cross, Sunlife, Manulife etc.
  • Ability to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency is a must
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • General office functions such as filing, faxing, photocopying, mail and typing
  • Assist clients in completing required intake/questionnaire forms
  • Ensure daily charts are pulled and prepared for assigned staff
  • Perform day to day financial transactions using an interact machine
  • Prepare bank deposits and balance cash 


  • Successful completion of secondary education in the administrative field
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience booking clients using an electronic system
  • Knowledge in billing to extended health care companies
  • Experience working in a customer service environment
  • Experience and/or knowledge in holistic healthcare is an asset
