“In my work, I support others with their wellness goals, and recently many conversations have been focused on getting back on track after the summer. When, one day, the calendar claimed it was August 15th, I just couldn’t believe it! With fall just around the corner, I started thinking about my own goals and realized I had pushed some to the back burner.

As many of you know, I once faced a health crisis. With the support of an alternative healthcare practitioner, two things became apparent to me; one, that it was possible to get better, and two, that if I was going to heal, I had to rearrange my priorities and put my self first. In doing so, I was able to find my way back to health, and today I feel better than ever! Self-care is not selfish. I truly believe that self-care is the foundation to a balanced and happy life. When we take care of ourselves, we can then take care and support the people in our lives.

With first hand experience and an understanding of what the body needs to heal itself, I know that change is possible, and I want to share what I have learned with others. This is why I am so passionate about the work I do.

September is a time of change, and over the past few weeks I have given some thought to what I want to achieve this fall. I have outlined my goals and have already taken the first few steps. Perhaps you have done the same and are ready to move forward as well?
